Pertenecer a esa comunidad implica que en el momento en el que empezamos a practicarlo pasamos a engrosar una gran familia de personas con las que compartir sufrimientos y alegrías, con las que entrenamos buscando sentirnos mejor y que al igual que nosotros no se conforman con un simple buen estado de forma. Nos encontramos con esa gran familia cuando entrenamos con nuestros compañeros de siempre en nuestro Box, pero también cuando viajamos y tenemos la suerte de poder entrenar junto a otros “compañeros”, en sitios diferentes, pero siempre bajo un lenguaje común, el del CrossFit.
A una menor escala, la comunidad interna del Box se manifiesta cada vez que un deportista anima, apoya, da aliento y a la vez exige lo máximo a otro compañero de entrenamiento. Esto nos aleja de la soledad de los centros deportivos clásicos y nos conduce a un “hermanamiento” con nuestros camaradas de fatigas, con los que siempre se termina por crear vínculos de amistad y camaradería muy profundos.
«Sufrimos juntos y triunfamos juntos. Nos animamos unos a otros. Nos impulsamos a superar el sufrimiento y a alcanzar logros que creíamos imposibles. Tanto dentro como fuera del Box acabamos siendo una familia. Da igual tu trabajo, tu origen, o cualquier circunstancia vital pues al final todos compartimos el mismo terreno de juego.»
